When talking about guinea pigs many people ask about the fruits they can eat, and can guinea pigs eat plums is a common question.  Guinea pigs can eat plums, however as with all fruits its important to remember they are high in sugar.  Too much sugar is not good for your guinea pig, so if you do decide to feed plums, make sure you do so sparingly.  And of course always remember that fresh hay, clean water, and quality pellets are the most important elements of your guinea pigs diet.

 

So can guinea pigs eat plums?  Yes, but just make sure if you do feed them, you do so sparingly.
