Can bunnies eat dill?

Fresh herbs…gotta love’em.  And there are many different kinds that your rabbit may enjoy. But can I feed my rabbits dill?

Yes rabbits can eat dill.  And dill can actually make for a nice fresh snack for your rabbit.  However, keep in mind this should not replace the core of their diet, which should be made up of high quality timothy hay, fresh and clean water, as well as quality rabbit pellets.  Fresh herbs and fresh veggies can make for a nice snack and add some variety from time to time, but should never be a substitute for the core of their diet.

So, can rabbits eat dill?  They sure can, just be sure to feed in moderation.

If you’re wondering whether it is safe to feed any other type of food, we have compiled a master list that will help you determine What Food Rabbits Can Eat.

Hope this was helpful, and till next time, love those rabbits…
