Feed your rabbit or guinea pig from your garden!

feed rabbit or gp from the garden

Other than great hay, there is nothing better than a huge variety of leaves, flowers, sticks, and other plant bits. If you are lucky enough to have a garden, you’ve got food! A lot of these things can be done in containers, and even indoors, so if you don’t have 40 acres, don’t worry. (here's a great guide to container gardening from Gardening Mentor) If you have a "black thumb", and can't seem to grow anything at all, check out these tips from Real Simple.

Of course, no pesticides on these plants, and if you can use nice compost that is even better. Remember how sensitive our little friends are to chemicals and toxins.

Go on out to the garden, and maybe even take your rabbit with you! (The only help you’ll get from them is maybe “thinning” the plants, but they’ll have a great time.)
