Belinda Says Hay: “The English”

Belinda Says Hay_The English

Hello. It's Belinda.

Last week I wrote about antics in the house.  Also known as "being helpful." It all depends on how you look at it.

At the end I mentioned the English and I regret it now. I shouldn’t bring him into my blogs. It's not professional.

But it's too late now. Because I got a question about it on the company Facebook page.

I suppose it’s time to tell a bit about him. I mean more than "he sleeps on the bedroom level." And he likes to make trouble.

I might edit that out later. About making trouble. I need to be courteous.

I could change it to "he's a spirited rabbit." Or a rascal or wise guy, as my roommate says.

She thinks it's all fun and games. Lets him get away with everything.

Which is unfair to me and my boyfriend's companion, also known as "Little Fang."

For example, I went to a photo shoot last week. I was gone for four hours "tops." But that was long enough for the wise guy.

Because when I came home I found a tuft of grey fur by my stash. And one of my pine cones was missing.  Explain that one.

I just deleted a paragraph. Also I have rewritten this blog about four times now. Even the headline.

"Why I Don't Talk About the English" was too long.

"The English Is a Thief" won't make it past the Tech Team. Don't ask me how I know.

"Even Little Fang Rejected Him" was also too long.

Plus their little romance is none of my business. I told her it wouldn't work with him. Not to say "I told you so" but I was right. He won't settle down.

If you are wondering what the English looks like, here's a portrait I drew for my homemade holiday card:

He didn't pose for that, by the way. We can't be in the same room for more than five minutes.

I drew that from a photo I found on the kitchen floor. My roommate sticks more and more photos on the refrigerator. A magnet can only hold so much.

This blog is due in 15 minutes and I didn't even get to the good part yet.

I might have to continue this next week. "Stay tuned."

Sincerely,

Belinda
