I want to thank everyone who filled out my Ad Feedback $150 Gift Card Giveaway Entry Form.
The big news is we have a winner. I used a random number gizmo to pick the name.
Everyone who filled out the entry form got a number by their name. "Automatically." Which was nice.
Took the pressure off, if you know what I mean. I never did a giveaway before. Turns out there's a lot of "tech" to make things easier.
Speaking of tech. I sent an email to the winner. It said "Congratulations" and so forth.
But I have not heard back yet. And now I'm worried. Wondering if my message got through.
You never know with email.
So I asked the Tech Team for check into it for me.
I said it's been an hour since I sent the message. Maybe two. But no reply.
The Tech Team was in a mood. They told me to give the winner a chance. They said unlike certain rabbits not everyone checks emails all day and night.
They also told me to "hold my horses."
I don't know any horses. Come on.
After a bit they told me about the "spam folder." Said emails end up there now and then by mistake.
So please everybody check your "spam folder." Look for an email from me. "Belinda@smallpetselect.com."
In the meantime I am reading all of the comments you wrote about my ads. So far I read four.
I had to stop after that. Because the fourth comment asked a lot of questions about the chicken ad.
The comment said "I don't understand this ad. Why did you use a chicken instead of a rabbit? Do you know this chicken? Why is the combo box so small?"
There were more questions but you get the idea.
The thing is I don't know the answers. I don't remember where I got the "concept" for this ad. I did so many.
It has something to do with my advertising book. "Ogilvy on Advertising."
I need to go back and look at my notes. It's going to take forever.
But don't worry about me. I'll figure something out. I have to.
Because I owe a report to the team. A "summary" of the comments. To prove I write good ads.
Anyway. That's all for now. I have to go check my email.
