Hello. It's Belinda.
Last week my blog was a "photo story." I hope you liked it.
I didn't care for it if you want to know the truth.
That's because it was all about my roommate trying to kidnap me for some mysterious reason.
And not just me. Little Fang and the English too. She had all three car carriers out in the hallway.
I didn't want to go anywhere. Not in the mood to travel with you-know-who.
Nothing good can come of it.
For example, the trip to the cabin in the woods last summer.
Plus car rides can make us feel a bit "seasick."
We can't see where we're going. Too short.
I usually just close my eyes. It’s either that or watch treetops and wires flash past out the window. "No thank you."
Despite all that my roommate loaded us into the car and drove away from our house.
After about 15 minutes she stopped the car. She picked up my carrier with her good arm and walked across a yard to the front door of a house.
As soon as she stepped inside and put my carrier down I knew where I was. I could smell the petsitter.
Not to be rude but she smells like old lemons.
Her house has a very strong “fragrance” too. Imagine you drop a bottle of mouthwash on the floor but instead of a bottle it's a bucket. That’s all I’m going to say.
I'm trying not to use my nose as I write this blog.
Anyway, you might wonder why my roommate brought us here.
There was a loud and dramatic incident at home. Involving an exercise pen.
Turns out it's a “hazard” to throw your leg over the side of an exercise pen when you have one arm in a cast.
Everything's fine including my roommate’s arms. Also Little Fang’s pen.
But it was a little too much excitement if you know what I mean.
So my roommate is supposed to take it easy. "Doctor's orders.”
By the way, does anybody know how long it takes for a broken arm to heal? Seems to take a long time in my opinion.
Anyway we got here yesterday and so far there's nothing to report except for the odor.
The English is on his best behavior. We'll see how long that lasts.
Enough about him.
I hope you have a good week.
Sincerely,
Belinda
