Chapter 128 - Lap Bunny
Dad laid on the couch watching TV one evening. Like most rabbits, Merlot was happy hanging out near her human. Dino sat beside her, but he wanted to be closer to Dad.
He hopped over to the side of the couch and stood up on his back feet. Dad looked down and asked, “What’s up little guy? Would you like something?”
Dino stared back at Dad and thought, “Can I come up der wit you?”
Dad understood. He said, “Sure!” He lifted Dino onto the couch. Dino explored the couch for awhile. He liked the soft blanket that covered Dad and pushed it around to get it just right. Then he snuggled down in Dad’s lap and looked at him.
“Dis cozy!” he thought. He stretched out and relaxed.
Dad was amazed. “Well, look at this! I have a lap bunny!” He gently stroked Dino’s head and ears. Dino closed his eyes and put his chin down. “Dis da life!” he thought.
Dino settles into Dad's lap.
