Chapter 58 - Thanking Supervet
“Hey Enzo, I’m taking Bentley in for his RHDV2 vaccination,” said Dad. Normally, Enzo wasn’t a fan of going to the vet, but he thought, “Can I go, too? I want to give poster to our Supervet!” After his last visit, he told Dad he thought Dr. Stern was a superhero for saving all the buns at the House of Buns at one time or another. Dad whipped up a poster on the computer and printed it on metal.
Dad replied, “Oh, sure. That would be great. I’m sure they’d appreciate that.”Dad loaded the two carriers into the car and headed over the hill to the vet.
After Bentley got his shot, Dad told Dr. Stern, “Enzo has a little surprise for you. A thank you for being such a great vet.” Dad pulled out the poster and presented it to Dr. Stern. Enzo thought, “Dis for you! We lucky to have you! You a Supervet!”
Dr. Stern looked at the poster, which featured her and her staff as the cast of characters. “Oh, that’s so sweet, Enzo. Thank you!” She gathered the staff members who were at the office that day for a photo with Enzo.
As Enzo waved goodbye with his ears, he thought, “Hang it where everyone can see it! You da best!” Having a good rabbit vet nearby was indeed a blessing.
