Jess lives in Daytona with her rabbits Lola (the brown bunny in the pics) and Butler (the black bunny in the pics). Jess always wanted a bunny but her mom wouldn’t let her keep on in the house, and Jess knew that outdoor rabbits were in danger. So she waited…and waited…and finally, once she had her own place, she got her first rabbit, Lola.
About 5 months later, Jess and Lola went on a bunny blind date and met Butler. Little Butler was found in a pet store parking lot, in a carrier, and the timing suggested to the rescue that he was an Easter rabbit whose family had grown bored with him. This infuriates Jess, and we agree with her! Jess and Lola both took a shine to Butler, and he joined the family. Butler was safe and loved at last, and had his forever home with Jess and Lola.
Butler had health problems from the first day he came home, though. He refused to eat hay, and had dental issues. He had to have his teeth trimmed several times, and had to have 2 teeth removed. Jess worried about the stress of all this. Jess tried all kinds of hay, nothing worked. Jess knew Butler needed to eat lots of hay, but was at a loss.
