Belinda Says Hay: “Advent Calendar Day 12 … Open Quick!”

You might think I'm wrapping presents but I'm not.

I'm digging in the tissue papers. It's fun.

Well if you are reading this on Sunday that means it's December 12. Santa is coming in 12 days.  

This is my final chance to remind everyone to order treats, toys, hay and other goodies ASAP. 

So you'll have it in time to put under the tree. Or just for holiday snacking.

As far as I know, my roommate has not ordered my Christmas presents yet. I keep watching the front door. 

She walks around the house singing "Deck the Halls." Yesterday morning she put up the tree and wrapped it in lights.

I have to enjoy it through the fence. We're not allowed near it.

Anyway she needs to "get cracking" on the holiday shopping. These snackers don't order themselves if you know what I mean. 

Neither do loops.

My other big assignment is to promote the holiday Advent Calendar.

There's a new deal every day. It could be a special on hay, toys, treats, bundles or supplies. You don't know until you click on the number.

Last week the team asked me to come up with a "catchy headline" for the Advent Calendar. Something nobody could resist.

So I did some research in my advertising books. They say if you want to get attention you have to use words like now, new, announcing, limited offer and hurry.

No problem.  

So I wrote "Announcing the Limited Offer Advent Calendar. Hurry Now, It's New!"

I sent it and I have not heard one word of feedback. They're probably shocked at how good it is. 

If you see my headline on a billboard let me know.
