Hello. It's Belinda.
I have a big surprise. You are going to love it.
It's a giveaway. Another "collab" with my friend Oreo the bunny rabbit.
Three lucky winners will receive:
- 1 bridge
It's the same setup Oreo is posing on in this photo.
The Habitat Hideout Castle is hand-crafted in the Small Pet Select workshop. Made from professional grade wood. No screws, no glue.
The giveaway ends at 11:59 p.m. EST on Sunday, November 20. Open to US residents only.
To enter, visit Oreo's page on Instagram or TikTok and follow the instructions.

Good luck to everyone. If you win one of these castle setups, you can tell the rabbits it's an early gift from Santa Claus.
Speaking of the holidays.
Last week I wrote about Daylight Saving Time.
And I threw in a few "clues" about a new way to set the clocks ahead. By clues I mean drawings.
I hoped somebody would send my blog to the people in charge of time.
So far I haven’t heard back from anyone. So I thought I should explain my new system.
I call it "Holiday Smash Time" (HST).
Instead of moving the clocks an hour here, an hour there, simply spin the months ahead until the holidays "smash" into each other.
Here’s an example.
Under Holiday Smash Time, you would celebrate Halloween and Valentine’s Day on the same day.
In the evening, you would wander around the neighborhood knocking on doors.
When your neighbor answers, you yell "Happy Halloween! Will you be my pumpkin?"
Then you give your neighbor some candy.
Move on to the next house until you run out of treats.
St. Patrick’s Day would smash into Thanksgiving.
You sit down to eat your holiday meal and everything is from Ireland.
Shamrocks, soda bread, colcannon.
If you want to "jazz up" the table, you decorate with hats from pilgrims and leprechauns. To tie it all together.
I hope the people in charge of Daylight Savings Time are following along.
I hope they see what their "little scheme" can lead to. A lot of chaos in my opinion.
Last but not least. Christmas Independence Day. Which takes place in the summer.
To celebrate this new "smashed" holiday, you remove your trusty Christmas stocking from the fireplace and drive it to a local “pick your own berry“ patch.
Fill the stocking with blueberries and strawberries. “One to eat, one for the stocking.”
When it's time for the big Fourth of July show, walk into your back yard and toss all of the blueberries and strawberries into the air.
No loud booms. No fires. Just a few hundred berries for the birds to find under the trees the next morning.
So there you have it.
If you know where I can find the time people, let me know in the comments.
Or send me an email at belinda@smallpetselect.com.
I hope you have a good week.
Sincerely,
Belinda
