Hello. It's Belinda.
Happy Easter to all my friends who celebrate. I hope you get some goodies.
Speaking of snacks. Did you hear about our Easter weekend hay sale?
Get 15% off third cutting Timothy hay.
I love it. A nice "afternoon hay" in my opinion.
Do you see the two rabbits and guinea pig on the box? I wish I knew their names.
If I met them, I would say "excellent job" on the modeling. It's a big deal to have your photo on a hay box. I hope they read my blog so they see this.
And I hope you saw Abigail's blog on Wednesday. It's all about the treatment she's having for her lump.
She looks so tiny in that big machine.
I want to thank everyone who wrote such nice messages to her in the comments under my blog last week. I made sure she and her “dad“ saw all of them.
OK now I have to tell you about my Easter plans.
A few years ago, Little Fang and I "put our heads together" and found a nice Easter gift for our roommate. It wasn't easy to pull off but we did it.
First thing our roommate did was give it away.
Lately I've been wondering if the whole thing was just a big misunderstanding. My roommate gets confused. Not to gossip but come on.
So this year I thought I'd try again. Buy some fun holiday treats for her.
I did a web search for "Easter candy for roommates." I'm not supposed to use my computer for personal business but this was an emergency.
I came up with this list:
- Chocolate eggs
- Peanut butter eggs
- Chocolate footballs in foil
- Jellybeans
- Peeps
Seemed like a good start.
My roommate likes bread and fizzy drinks. But I think she'd enjoy a jellybean or two.
Suddenly I remembered something important.
I don't have any cash. No gift cards either.
So there you have it.
A long time ago somebody told me "It's the thought that counts." Meaning my roommate will be happy that I wanted to give her some candy.
Even though her Easter basket will be filled with a big fat pile of nothing.
Well I have something to say about what counts.
Rabbits don't believe in thoughts. Rabbits believe in loops.
"Please and thank you."
Sincerely,
Belinda
