Ahhh… summer. You’ve been so, so good to me!
Did you have a good summer too?
Now that the days are getting a little shorter and the breeze a little cooler, I’ve been squeaking back on my very favorite sunny moments.
First off — I perfected the art of fan naps. That dreamy half-doze where the breeze tickles my whiskers and makes my fur floof just right. Pure bliss.
And of course, nothing beats sprawling out in a warm sunbeam, eyes half-closed, listening to the hum of summer sounds… all while keeping cool indoors, of course. (We piggies heat up fast, remember!)
Big Momma and I celebrated with all the best summer snacks — cucumbers and strawberries straight from the garden.
Speaking of gardens, Big Momma’s flower patch exploded with blooms this year. So many colorful blossoms! She said they were for the neighbors to enjoy, not for my nibbling… but don’t worry. I still got my special picks: marigolds, hibiscus, roses, and blue cornflowers. Yum! Oh, and my very own edible forage tray too!
But if I had to pick just one favorite summer memory? Easy. Snuggling up with Big Momma for cozy cuddles. Because no matter how fun the sunshine and snacks are, nothing beats feeling safe and loved in her arms.
Here’s to the last squeaks of summer, friends!
Your pal,
Gizmo
