Hello. It's Belinda.
How are you doing with the clocks being behind an hour?
Or maybe you're ahead an hour. It all depends on where you live.
I'm a bit "foggy" if you want to know the truth.
Anyway, I want to thank everyone for the nice comments about last week's blog. Especially about my drawing of Daylight Saving Time.
Sometimes I worry that I put too many drawings in my blog. They hired me to write not to "doodle."
So I appreciate your support. It means the world to me.
Speaking of support. That brings me to the topic of today's blog.
Abigail is the company novelist. I'm supposed to be her supervisor but mostly we just "shoot the breeze."
We meet every week and talk about food and news from home. Next to Little Fang she's my best friend.
I'm so upset about Abigail's leg.
If you're wondering how it happened that's the weird thing. Nobody knows.
She was fine the night before but in the morning she was limping.
Abigail's roommate, whom she calls "Dad," has spy cameras all over the house.
He watched the spy movies to see if they showed her falling or running into furniture. Nothing showed up.
I don't want to talk too much about her private medical issues. But enough is enough in my opinion.
It was only a few months ago that Abigail had to stay at the hospital. She had a lump in her chest.
But even with all that going on she turned her work in on time. Which I did not expect.
Abigail celebrated five years on the job this year.
She has an excellent work ethic. She never complains.
The vet said she's supposed to rest her leg for a few weeks. I told her to take all the time off she needs.
But I know how she is. Abigail will try to work anyway.
How can she write her chapters with a broken leg?
I wish I could fly out to California and help her. I don't know what I could do but we could at least look out the window together.
What we really need is a good "app." Some gizmo to help her type without using her paws.
Do you know any apps that do that sort of thing? If so let me know in the comments.
The apps have to be "rabbit-friendly."
Well I had a whole blog planned for today about making a list for Santa. I wanted to ask if everyone in your house has been naughty or nice this year.
So that's your homework for this week.
Just kidding. This week is for naps.
Sincerely,
Belinda
