Belinda Says Hay: “Annoyed Roommate Department”

Belinda Says Hay spokesrabbit blog, "Annoyed Roommate Department" April 28, 2024

Hello. It's Belinda.

This is a quick blog today. We're having some "tech" issues over here.

More about that in a minute.

First I want to remind you to read last week's blog. Just in case you missed it.

It's a very professional "deep dive" into hay. Timothy is just the beginning.

You can learn about oat hay and more here.

If you have time, please share my blog with your hay-loving friends. I want the whole world to know.

OK back to today's topic.

I decided to stop writing about drama at home. I got into enough trouble with that whole eclipse "saga."

But what follows is not "gossip." It has to do with an incident related to computer equipment.

It all started last weekend. I noticed my roommate was walking around with headphones on.

Fine by me. When she listens to audiobooks or podcasts she "stays out of my hair."

But she wasn't "tuned in" to a book or podcast. I know this because I could hear her singing through the ceiling.

"You left your typewriter at my apartment."

Oh brother.

At first I thought she was talking to me. I don't use a typewriter.

A few hours later she does it again.

"Once I fix me, he's gonna miss me."

This time she wasn't upstairs. I was napping beside the dryer and she was standing behind me. I nearly jumped out of my skin.

"Belinda!!! I didn't mean to startle you."

She yelled it because of the headphones.

The big "incident" happened the next afternoon.

I was in the living room relaxing. Sometimes I need a change of scenery from the bottom level.

My roommate was on the bedroom level. Still wearing the headphones.

"Who's afraid ... of little old me?"

She was so loud I bet the neighbors heard.

Just then I noticed a small object beside the loveseat.

I guess my roommate had been working on her laptop in the living room.

I guess she was so busy "performing" that she didn't hear anything fall to the floor.

It's not my fault that she isn't careful.

You might remember that my roommate helps me with my blog.

It's my blog and I write it. But she helps with the computer part.

Except she told me "I can't do it with a broken cord."

So I hope this blog gets published. If not it's because of the headphones.

Sincerely,

Belinda
