Belinda Says Hay: “Blog Changes”

Belinda Says Hay spokesrabbit blog, Feb 25, 2024: "Blog Changes"

Hello. It's Belinda.

You may have noticed a big change to Abigail’s blog this week.

For one thing it has a new name.

"Abigail's House of Buns."

It also has a new masthead with all of Abigail's rabbit family on it. Merlot, Enzo, Bentley, Mocha and Hobo.

Abigail's on it too.

I sure do miss our weekly meetings.

We were supposed to discuss hay and such but you know how that goes. We talked a lot about things at home. "Personal things."

Also food.

I hired Abigail behind everyone's back because I thought I was losing my spokesrabbit job. I panicked and got a notary and everything.

Well I was wrong about getting fired. The team was just planning a surprise birthday party for me.

The surprise was on them because after my birthday, Abigail published the first chapter of her novel. "Wish With All Your Heart."

Hiring Abigail was the best thing I've done on this job. Her novel has helped lots of rabbits and roommates.

People have been asking me if I will "go rogue" again and hire a new writer. I've been trying to figure that out myself.

Mostly trying to not think about it at all. Sometimes if I ignore hard assignments they take care of themselves.

I'm not trying to be "mysterious" but I can't say too much. I don't want anyone at Abigail's house to think I play favorites.

The bottom line is Enzo has the job. He's the best candidate in my opinion.

First of all, he's a good egg.

Secondly, he lives on the main floor. Meaning he's "in the thick of things."

You're probably wondering about his grammar. As one of Abigail's fans put it,  Enzo’s English is “fractured.”

The good news is that "Dad" has agreed to help him with editing. Which is a big relief to me. I don't like to mess around with another rabbit's blogs. It's a territory thing if you want to know the truth.

Anyway I hope you like the first chapter of "Abigail's House of Buns."

Let me know if you have any messages for Enzo. He's nervous and I don't blame him.

He's got little shoes to fill.

Sincerely,

Belinda
