Hello. It's Belinda.
First things first. Happy Hanukkah to those of you who celebrate. I hope you have a festival filled with happiness.
If you are reading this on Sunday, we are "smack-dab" in the middle of the Black Friday Cyber Monday Sale.
If you are in the UK, use this link for your special Black Friday Cyber Monday deals.
Don't miss these bargains. It's a great time to stock up on hay and bedding. Also to order all of your holiday gifts.
Do you remember reading my blog about ordering extra early this year? Because of all the warnings about shipping delays.
Well that blog was published two weeks ago. See how fast time flies.
Next thing you know everyone will be sitting around the tree expecting something.
Speaking of holidays, I hope you had an excellent Thanksgiving. With time to relax.
I'm writing this on Friday so I'm still snacking. I'm on my fourth helping of hay. "Who's counting."
I'm extra thankful this year because I got to spend some "web time" with Abigail the novelist yesterday. We didn't talk about work. Just about things at home.
I was so worried when she had to stay at the vet last month. But now Abigail feels good as new and I know I'm not the only one who's thankful. She has a lot of friends.
During our "web chat" Abigail asked if my roommate would serve my favorite food for Thanksgiving dinner.
I didn't know what to say.
And maybe I shouldn't admit this because of my job and everything.
But my "favorite food" changes all the time.
I always like alfalfa hay of course.
Too bad my roommate says it's "too rich for every day." I get a pinch a few times a week.
Some days all I can think about are healthy snackers. Right now my favorite flavor is cranberry apple. For the holidays.
And don't get me started on loops. Country Loops. Meadow Loops. They have such a nice crunch. Oh and Woodland Loops too. With dandelion and rosehips.
This week I've had a "hankering" for Holiday Herbal Medley. Which also has rosehips. It's so good.
See what I mean about "my favorite food."
Rabbits like to forage. A little of this, a little of that. Maybe a lot of that. It all depends on my mood.
The good thing is my roommate likes to go "all out" on a holiday. Hay, treats, herbal mix. Salad.
Same things I usually eat but more variety. More servings. Just more everything.
So all this was running through my head after Abigail asked if I would have my "favorite" food for Thanksgiving.
I realized she was watching me. Through the computer gizmo.
Waiting for me to answer.
It's more, I said.
My favorite food is more.
Abigail knew exactly what I was talking about.
Sincerely, Belinda
