Hello. It's Belinda.
The past few weeks have been hard.
Not for me. But for rabbits and other animals and roommates.
I'm not allowed to watch the news. When I come into the living room, my roommate changes the channel.
But I found out about the hurricanes. And all the floods.
I heard my roommate talking about it on the phone. She didn't know I was behind the couch.
Ever since then I've been worried about everybody.
So I'm using today's blog to check in.
Did the hurricanes come through your town? Or close by?
Were there any floods near your home?
Did you evacuate ahead of time? How far away did you go?
That sounds so scary. I'm not a fan of long drives.
A few years ago, the team wrote a blog about how to stay safe in the car.
The blog is called "Traveling with Small Pets."
I hope you will read it and save it for the future. Just in case you need it.
Some pets get lost during storms. If you find a loose rabbit, you will want to get him or her indoors right away.
Be sure to check out the blog my roommate wrote last week.
It's called "How to Catch a Stray Rabbit."
It's another good one to read now so you'll know where to start if you see a rabbit outside.
Please share these blogs with your friends. There are so many rabbits "set free" this time of year.
Thanks in advance.
Please let me know in the comments how you are doing. Or email me at belinda@smallpetselect.com.
Sincerely,
Belinda
