Belinda Says Hay: “Please Send Photos“

Belinda Says Hay spokesrabbit blog, "Please Send Photos" June 30, 2024

Hello. It's Belinda.

I have to start this blog with some "UA."

Unsolicited advice.

It's going to make some of you "miffed" at me. I'm sorry about that.

OK here goes. First take a look at this photo.

Look at my fur.

This is what heat and humidity do to me.

Seems like every five minutes my roommate is chasing me around the house with the "grooming kit."

Sometimes she just "plucks" me when she's passing by.

Which is rude.

Anyway, here's what I want to say. Let your roommate help you with your "molt."

Just get it over with.

You don't want to groom yourself when you have fur dripping off like this. That extra fur belongs in the garbage can. Not in your belly.

A lot of rabbits are getting sick right now and it's because they are filling up with "weather shed."

I don't want anyone to get sick with GI stasis. It's awful.

OK enough about that. Now for something fun.

I'm in "vacation mode" right now. I want to goof off a little.

So next week I'm going to publish a photo blog.

The theme is "goofing off."

Do you have a favorite photo of yourself or your roommate having fun? That could be human, rabbit, guinea pig or "whomever."

Having fun might be relaxing on the AC vent. Or running around the house. Or getting into mischief.

"You decide."

Just let me know who's in your photo and what they're doing.

Email it to belinda@smallpetselect.com

I'll include as many as I can in my blog.

In the meantime, stay cool. Drink some water.

And let your roommate groom you.

Sincerely,

Belinda
