Belinda Says Hay: “Sad News About Jester”

Hello. It's Belinda.

I don't even know how to write this. I am so upset.

The original plan for this blog was that I would write about my surprise giveaway. I'm giving four lucky winners a box of sampler hay.  You can get details and enter here. 

To be honest I feel funny writing about hay.

This whole blog is supposed to be about my friend Jester.

Then I tell myself Jester would understand. Because he's a spokesrabbit too. 

Jester the Giant Bunny is called the "ambassador" for an organization called Rabbit Savior. 

He's also a "BWB." 

Big White Bunny.

I wrote about him last summer. When he fell in his garden and hurt his leg. After that he was a "tri-pod."

Here's a photo of Jester in his "medical shirt." He had to wear it so he wouldn't fuss with his stitches.

I just looked at those photos for the longest time.

I have a lot of photos of Jester. And a lot of email messages. 

A little over a week ago, Jester got very sick. He had a hard time using his legs.

His roommate, Lyn, noticed that something was wrong and she took him to the vet right away.

He ended up having to stay at the vet hospital and have all kinds of tests. A whole team of vets tried to help him.

I'm very sorry to let you know Jester didn't make it.

I found out Monday night and I just can't believe this happened.
