Hello. It's Belinda.
First I want to thank everyone who wrote kind comments and sent emails about Hobo.
I made sure everyone at the House of Buns saw your messages, especially his best friend Mocha. I feel so sorry for him.
Enzo posted an update about Hobo the other day. You can read it here.
OK I need to write about something happy today.
Treats and snacks.
Halloween is only six weeks away. It's a good time to start stocking up for your little "trick or treaters."
Meaning your rabbit roommates.
A very good place to start is the "loop" section of the Small Pet Select website.
I'm a rabbit who loves her loops.
In fact, when I wanted to give Enzo a "bonus" for doing such a good job on writing the Abigail's House of Buns chapters, I sent him the surprise I would want the most.

Country Loops. Orchard Loops. Meadow Loops.
I love them all.
As far as I'm concerned, a loop is a work of art.

You can really see the bits of hay, fruit and other ingredients when you're "nose to loop" like this.
This blog is making me hungry.
Next up we have one of my new favorites.

They're like extra big jumbo loops but more flaky and chewy.
Each round is made with meadow grass, timothy hay, dandelion, nettle and tasty herbs and flowers.

Here's a closeup "side view" of a Forage Round.
I took this photo. My roommate helped.
It's a lot bigger than a loop by the way.
Doesn't it look like a party? That's exactly what it is.
A carnival of flavors.
And if you agree with that, then "hold onto your hat" for this next treat.

It's called a Flower Forage Bar.
Have you ever seen anything so "treaty" looking?
I haven't tried this bar yet but I sure want to.
Just look at the "promo" information:
Small Pet Select Forage Bars are the ultimate crunchy, munchy snack for your small pet. Each bar is crafted with a wholesome blend of leaves, herbs, and flowers...then finished with a sprinkle of colorful, fragrant botanicals that your small pet will go wild for. Whether you break them into bits or serve the whole bar, they’re a great way to encourage natural foraging behavior and a little bonding time, too. No added nonsense...just natural, delicious ingredients your pet will love from the very first nibble.
You had me at "serve the whole bar."
TO MY ROOMMATE ORDER THIS FOR ME PLEASE
I like this blog a lot so far.
And speaking of "party on a saucer."
Do you recognize these herbs and flowers?

If you said Belinda's Blend herbal mix you win.
You win even more if you have some next to your hay pile.
Or sprinkled on top of your hay pile.

My Belinda's Blend mix has chamomile, red clover, rose petals, dandelion leaves, lavender, hibiscus and elderflower.
Have you tried it? Let me know in the comments.

Here are some of the other herbal blends. You can read all about them here.
I like herbal mixes a lot. It's like eating a little garden for lunch.
OK that's all I can write for today. I am about to lose my gourd.
I hope you enjoyed this blog about treats and snacks.
If anyone needs me I'll be in my stash.
Sincerely,
Belinda
