Belinda Says Hay: “Your 2023 Resolutions”

Belinda Says Hay spokesrabbit blog: "Your 2023 Resolutions"

Hello. It's Belinda.

If you're reading this on Sunday I have only one thing to say.

"Happy New Year."

Just kidding. I have more to say but that's the most important part.

I'm writing this in advance so I can take time off for the holidays. Not my idea but my roommate "put her foot down."

When your roommate thumps you listen. Rabbits know what I mean.

Anyway this post is about New Year's resolutions. A few weeks ago I asked for resolution ideas from the rabbits and guinea pigs who read my blog.

This past year has been a bit "chaotic" at work. Especially with trying to learn new computer apps and gizmos. I want to do better in 2023.

I hoped some of you could help me figure out a good goal or two for the new year.

As always you really went "above and beyond." I received so much A+ feedback in the comments and in my email I don't know where to begin.

Here's just a few examples.

This is my friend Pepper.

She likes to use her roommate's shoes as her "loo." In 2023, she hopes to find even more weird places to "do her business."

Also she wants to try more snacks.

Those are both good resolutions in my opinion. "Way to go Pepper."

I did  not catch the name of this rabbit with the "magazine model pose."

But their resolution is "to not chew through the internet wire again just because it looked like spicy hay."

Spicy hay is tricky. It seems like regular hay but then you hear yelling.

So good luck to you and your roommate with this goal. "You can do it."

My friend Oliver Sacks made a resolution to chew more on his many Small Pet Select toys and hay/tree mobiles. And chew less on the carpet and furniture.

I think the team should make chew toys out of furniture. "Everyone wins" if you know what I mean.

In the meantime good luck Oliver.

My friend Lulu M is just nine months old but she knows what she's doing. Her goal for 2023 is to make sure "Mom" keeps a big stash of Belinda's Blend and other goodies in the house.

Tell us how you do it Lulu M. Other rabbits are listening.

My friend Daisy wrote to me to say she's going to work on "leaving less cocoa puffs around the living room." Daisy is ten years old so she can do whatever she puts her mind to.

TO DAISY: Good luck with the new youngster in the house. No wonder you're "going" in the living room. Come on.

My friend Clover is four months old and she's going to train her roommate with a clicker to "learn tricks and other helpful stuff."

My roommate tried that once. She tried to train my bestie, "Little Fang."

I give you a lot of credit for this resolution Clover. You have a lot of "pep" for a four-month-old.

Last but not least, my friend Tom wrote me a very nice message about New Year's resolutions.

"Belinda, you only need one. Keep being you."

I appreciate all the excellent ideas my friends sent to me. Including the comments and emails I could not include in this blog. I'm out of time.

If I can't choose one, I might just go with Tom's. "Being me."

Thank you for supporting me in 2022. It means the world to your spokesrabbit.

Sincerely,

Belinda
