October is honestly magical. We’ve covered the biggest highlight of the month- pumpkin everything. You can’t eat too much pumpkin though so… drum roll… bring in the halloween costumes!
This year I am dressing as Harry Potter. I’m waiting for Mama to finish sewing my cloak as we speak! I’m so excited about the cloak and the scarf, so excited I will be putting my bandana in the drawer (temporarily of course).
How did I land on the decision to be Harry Potter? Well for one thing, bravery emits from me so it’s very fitting. Little mama has read the first two Harry Potter books to me and we’re working on the third!
Harry Potter is curious and can get into a *tiny* bit of trouble but he always gets himself out. He is also a very loyal friend. The wizarding world makes me think of Halloween of course. There are a lot of spooky parts!
That's another thing, I love spooky scenes. Halloween decorations are never a problem for someone as brave as me. There’s a dancing ghost by the front door. The other day I wanted to run past it so it would start dancing like it does when little Mama runs past.
No such luck.
There I am running as fast as I can back and forth and even landing some amazing popcorn jumps and still, nothing. I tried slowing down and speeding up. I tried standing as tall as I could.
The ghost’s motion sensor just wasn’t made for a guinea pig. Sigh. Maybe if we had a smaller ghost… the hoomans should consider downsizing some of the decorations.
I can hear the sewing machine going and going. It’s a lot of sewing for a little costume! Luckily I have a Pumpkin Snacker to munch on while I wait in anticipation.
We sure get into Halloween around here. Any excuse to celebrate and create new pumpkin traditions, I am in.
