Chapter 72 - BBFFs
It was a warm quiet afternoon aboard the Starship Bunnyprise. The screen door was open, letting a cool breeze into the room. Hobo listened to the birds singing outside as he snuggled up against his buddy Mocha. He wasn’t sleepy, but he liked comforting his bondmate Mocha.
The two of them had been together for a long time – eight years now. Thrown together by accident, they became instant buddies and were inseparable ever since.
In earlier days, the two would explore together. But Mocha was around twelve years old, now. As an elder bun, he mostly wanted to sleep during the day. Hobo kept watch over his buddy, so he could sleep soundly, knowing he was protected. Not that there was any threat to them on the Starship Bunnyprise, but rabbits by nature, are always on guard.
Mocha flinched. His back paw moved back and forth. Hobo thought, “He’s probably dreaming about running through a field.” He gave Mocha a few licks on his head. Mocha drifted out of sleep. He felt his buddy Hobo next to him. He felt safe and drifted back to sleep.
They were indeed, Best Bun Friends Forever.
