Chapter 94 - The Princess
As Dad petted Enzo and Merlot, he said, “Merlot, you’re so cute. You’re the only girl in this house full of boys. You’re our princess!” He gave her a kiss and got up and went back to work.
Merlot said, “Did you hear that, Enzo? Dad called me his princess!” Enzo humored Merlot and said, “Well, you are! You’re my princess, too!”
Later on, Merlot stood in front of their castle. She went inside and hopped up onto the second floor. She stood on the balcony and looked out across the room. She felt lucky to have all this space to roam. Just then, Enzo hopped by.
“Whatcha doin’ up there? he asked. “I’m being a princess and surveying my territory!” she said in her most royal voice. She held the pose for a few seconds before she giggled and hopped down to play with Enzo.
