Chapter 105 - An Angelic Reunion
Abigail was so good at helping the other bun angels that she was promoted to senior bunny angel. Now she wore a halo in addition to the wings she wore for helping rabbits in need on earth. Normally, she’d be watching over her fluffle of bunny angels, but today, she was on a mission. Her former boyfriend, Enzo, was arriving and she had to find him!
She searched through the parade of incoming bunny angels. Hobo followed behind her. Hobo was still new, so he hadn’t earned his wings yet. “Let me know if you see Enzo!” said Abigail. “I’m lookin’” replied Hobo.
Enzo woke up from his sleep. He was a bit confused. The last thing he remembered was being petted in Dad’s arms. “Where am I?” he wondered. Then he heard a familiar voice, “Enzo! Is that you?” Enzo’s ears went up and he turned to look. “Abigail?” he asked.
“Yes!” she exclaimed. Using her angel wings, she flew over to him while Hobo ran behind her. It was an angelic reunion of the three buns from the House of Buns. Abigail said, “I left you to take care of Dad! What happened?” Enzo said, “I dunno. My body quit working. Dad super sad. Merlot promise to take care of him.”
The three bunnies binkied, happy to see each other. Abigail and Hobo took Enzo on a tour.
A couple of days later, the three HoB angels were greeting the new arrivals when Enzo spotted a bun who looked familiar. Was it his east coast twin? He had never met him “in rabbit” on earth, he had only seen pictures, so he asked, “Duffy? Is dat you?” Duffy looked at Enzo. His eyes opened wide. “Enzo?” he asked.
Enzo replied, “Ya! What happened? Why you here?” Duffy explained, “I got old. I started having trouble getting around. I didn’t want to leave, but it was time. My mommy and daddy were so sad! I wanted to thank them for giving me such a good life.” Enzo said, “Ya, I know. Same wit me. I hope my Dad know.”
Abigail reassured the “twins”, “Don’t worry, they know.” Enzo said, “You remember Abigail, right?” Duffy replied, “Yes! Hi Abigail. We used to be pen pals!” Enzo continued, “She a senior angel now. You can tell by her wings and halo! She help us get dem, too!” Enzo said, “And dis Hobo.” Duffy was happy to see his friends. The four buns headed off together for new angel adventures.
