CHAPTER 266 – Body Double
“Good morning, boys. It’s breakfast time!” called out Dad as he stepped aboard the “Starship Bunnyprise,” home to Mocha and Hobo. Hobo came bounding out from under the couch, ears flopping as he ran. As he reached the dining area, he stood up on his back feet, eager to see what wonderful treats Dad had brought on their buffet tray. He teetered back and forth a little until he got his balance.
Dad laughed out loud. Hobo looked at him and wondered, “What are you laughing about?” Dad explained, “Hobo, when you stand up like that, you look just like Benjamin in the movie Peter Rabbit. All you need is a ‘matchy-matchy’ brown coat and you could be his body double!”
“OK, if you say so,” thought Hobo. Hobo wasn’t sure Dad meant by that, for he hadn’t seen the movie. All he knew was that he could smell banana on the tray, and he wanted Dad to set down the tray!
Dad set down the tray and chuckled as he pondered where he could find a brown coat that would fit Hobo.
