Chapter 60 - Bonus!
Enzo and Merlot were chillaxing by the window one afternoon when they heard Dad come through the front door. Dad announced, “Enzo! You got a package. It’s from your boss, Belinda!” As Resident Novelist for Small Pet Select, Enzo reported to Belinda, the Spokesrabbit.
Dad opened the bright green and white box and set it on the floor. “Come look what she sent!”
Enzo came bounding over to see. His eyes went wide as he looked inside the box. It was full of loops, all kinds of flavors! Enzo said, “Merlot! Look what Belinda sent!” Merlot came running over to investigate. She couldn’t believe her eyes, too!
Dad read the note inside, “Enzo, thank you for doing such a great job. I know Abigail would be proud of you. You said you like loops, so I asked to Josh send you a big stash of different loops as a bonus. Don’t eat them all at one time! ~ Belinda” Dad gave Enzo a pet. He said, “I’m proud of you, too!”
Merlot asked, “Enzo, may I have some, too?” Enzo loved his girlfriend and was happy to share. He said, “Sure! Der’s lots!”
