Chapter 79 - The Magic Castle
Enzo yawned as he woke up from his afternoon nap. They were both tired from all the excitement at the Bunny Play Date the day before. “Let’s go check out our territory,” said Enzo. Bunnies always had to see if anything had changed in their territory while they were asleep. “OK,” said Merlot.
The two rabbits bounded out from under the bed and ran into the living room. Merlot noticed it first. “Look! There’s a new castle!” exclaimed Merlot. The two rabbits ran over to investigate. It smelled familiar. “Enzo, this is the castle I hid in at the play date!” Enzo went inside. He periscoped up and stuck his head out the “sunroof.” Enzo agreed, “You right! Dis da same castle!” The two bunnies circled around, running in and out of the doors.
Just then, Dad came into the living room and spotted the rabbits. “Hi guys,” he said, “I see you found the castle! Do you like it?” Enzo looked up at Dad and thought, “Dis a magic castle! It turn me into Merlot. Watch!” Enzo disappeared and Merlot magically appeared. Indeed, the castle seemed to have turned Enzo into Merlot! Dad laughed, “I guess you’re right! That’s a pretty neat trick!”
