Chapter 70 - A Nice Warm Feeling
Dad was sitting on the floor eating breakfast when Enzo and Merlot came bounding over. “Happy Father’s Day!” thought Merlot, “May we have some treats?”
Dad said, “Thank you! Here you go,” as he set down their treat platter. He smiled, looking at the two cute buns nudging each other as they nibbled on their treats. Dad continued eating his breakfast beside them on this bright, sunny Sunday morning.
“We should do something for Dad for Father’s Day,” said Merlot between bites. Enzo agreed, “Ya, but what?” Merlot said, “I dunno. You’re smart. You’ll think of something.” With that, she ran back to their breakfast tray to finish her breakfast.
Enzo wanted to give Dad a nice warm feeling and let him know that he was HIS Dad. He finished his treats and hopped into Dad’s lap. Dad looked down and cooed, “Awww. Hi Sweetie.” As he petted Enzo, he felt a warm feeling on his leg. That feeling you get when you wet your pants.
“Enzo!” exclaimed Dad, “Did you just pee on me? What the heck?” Enzo turned around and gave Dad an innocent look and thought, “Happy Faader’s Day, Dad. You be mine!”
With that, he hopped off to take his morning nap and Dad finished eating his breakfast. He shook his head and thought, “Bunnies!”
Enzo gives Dad a "creative" Father's Day present.
