If you want to try something new, this is a good time to build up your stash. My roommate mixes two or three hays into one heap for us. I like picking through it.
Speaking of a big heap of hay. I hope you had a happy Thanksgiving.
Did everyone in your house get some special snacks? My roommate had you-know-what. Mashed potatoes. She talked about it all night.
Little Fang and I just ignored her. I had other things on my mind, to tell you the truth. Still do. And I don’t mean the “holiday rush” at work.
It has to do with Abigail, the novelist.
Before I get into this I need to make a confession. Because I’m Abigail’s manager, we have a work meeting every week. Be we don't talk about actual work.
Mostly we chat about food and what's new at home. For example, Abigail’s roommate, whose name is “dad,” is always up to something.
We don't get into the "nitty-gritty" of Abigail's novel writing. Meaning I don't read the chapters ahead of time.
When I get the email for her posts on Wednesdays I like to be surprised.
Well I sure had a big surprise about a week ago.
I opened her link and saw this photo:
It was such a shock I didn't read a single word of her novel chapter.
I know Abigail wrote about the project her dad was working on. You can see it on the monitors in the photo.
Every year, he takes photos of adoptable rabbits and turns them into a nice calendar. The whole thing helps to raise money to help rabbits at Rabbit Haven rescue.
I clicked on the link to look at the calendar photos.
Here's one of my favorites. It's a rabbit named Mika.
Mika is a supermodel in my opinion. Look at her front feet. Not an easy pose.
Back to the shocking part.
It's one thing for Abigail's "dad" to take photos and use the computer gizmos to make a calendar.
But for Abigail to get involved is an entirely different story.
I'll tell you one thing. If Abigail knows how to use Photoshop it’s game over for me as far as I’m concerned.
I don’t even use "spell check." No clue how to turn it on. That’s why my roommate has to help me with this blog.
Mostly I just get online and hit the keyboard and hope for the best.
But look at Abigail. She has two monitors in front of her. I don't know what to think.
Anyway. That's enough from me.
I'm sure this whole thing will blow over.
