Belinda Says Hay: ”Pranking the Petsitter”

Hello. It's Belinda.

First things first. I want to thank everyone who checked in after my blog last week.

I wrote about being worried about my friends after the recent hurricanes. That includes roommates and all animals.

Some of you left comments or emailed me about having to evacuate your town. Or having trees fall in your yard, or losing electricity for a really long time.

I hope that things are getting back to normal for you. Those storms sound extra scary.

Today I need to remind everyone about Midwest BunFest in Columbus Ohio.

It's next Sunday, October 27. That came up fast. 

Are you going? I hope so.

Midwest BunFest is organized by Ohio House Rabbit Rescue. It's a really big event. Rabbit rescues come from all over the country. So do people who sell special products for rabbits and people who love them.

Be sure to stop by the Small Pet Select table. We're a sponsor again. That means lots of free samples. 

If you're wondering if I'm going to be working the table the answer is no. Which is a big shame in my opinion.

I don't drive. So I need to "bum" a ride to Columbus from my roommate.

But she's going away next weekend. Won't tell me where.

She pulled this exact same nonsense a year ago during Midwest BunFest weekend.

And you-know-who moved in to take care of us.

This joker. 

That's the petsitter.

It's not nice to call her a "joker" but you need to understand something.

When the petsitter moved in last year to take care of me, Little Fang and the English, she did something very rude.

She took terrible photos of me.

I don't look like that. Come on.

So I pulled a fast one on her. I hid in my extra-secret hidey spot for hours.

The petsitter looked high and low for me. Not low enough as it turns out.

Anyway she's moving in later this week.

And I will be ready. In fact I have already started to plan a few "pranks."

Little Fang is helping me by the way. She's always up for a "collab."
