Did you have any time off last weekend? I mean for the US holiday. Memorial Day weekend.
I hope you had time to relax. It's good for the mind if you know what I mean.
I also hope you had time to read last week's blog. It's called "More Snackers."
I'm not allowed to say what my favorite snacker is. But I found a "workaround." If you read the blog you'll see what I mean.
Best of all, my friend Jean left an excellent question in the comments.
First she mentioned that two of her house mates have a dental problem that makes it hard for them to eat a Healthy Snacker.
That took my breath away. Can you imagine.
Then she wrote, "I try to cut them in half but it is really hard because they are really hard. I have used a serrated blade, a cleaver, a heavy knife, but nothing works well.
So, how do you cut a Healthy Snacker in half?"
As I was trying to figure out what to tell Jean, my friend Susan left a comment.
She said she uses garden clippers to cut the Healthy Snackers into halves or quarters.
How do you like that. It's a pretty "slick" solution in my opinion.

By the way I'm not about to encourage my roommate to use cleavers, heavy knives and garden clippers in the house. Not with her "attention span."
Anyway. Speaking of my roommate.
She made me take two days off work. (Friday and Monday). Plus the weekend.
I thought she was going to load us all into the car for some sort of "getaway" but instead we relaxed at home.
Fine by me. I don't want to be stuck in the car with the English for hours. Plus stuck in some "cabin" or hotel. We all have to stay in pens when we travel.
For our "staycation," my roommate and I spent a lot of time in the living room watching TV. I like an old-timey show called "Vega$" with detective Dan Tanna. It's about crooks in Las Vegas.
My roommate likes singing shows. Where people try to win prizes. I don't mind except when she tries to sing along.
Everything was going well until Sunday afternoon.
My roommate was sitting on the couch reading her phone. She was halfway through a huge bowl of popcorn.
I was stretched out along the wall. My nose was a few inches from a plate piled high with hay. I had a Meadow Loop stashed nearby.
My roommate turned her head and looked at me.
"Isn't this nice, Belinda?"
Then she said it.
"I'm so glad summer's finally here."
I froze.
Please tell me summer starts on June 21. Not on Memorial Day weekend.
Because I'm working on a big idea for summer. I've been planning it for months. But I'm supposed to have three more weeks to get it ready.
If summer starts on Memorial Day weekend then I'm already a week behind schedule.
I really don't want to say this. But this whole thing sounds an awful lot like Daylight Saving Time.
I need to go lie down.
