Let’s face it: the typical cord protectors, cable channels, and mounted conduit sleeves are just not that fun. Plus, you have to go to a lot of trouble if you need to move an appliance or reorganize stuff. There's got to be a better way to rabbit-proof cords and baseboards!
We found a perfect solution! It isn’t expensive, it isn’t hard, and it is way more convenient all around. Added benefit: it is just cute as a bunny’s tail.

All you need it simple garden edging, and some double-sided tape. Is this genius or what?
Just make sure you get untreated, unvarnished, unfinished wood, and we don’t advise painting it. Your chew monster may chop away at the new edging, so it has to be rabbit safe. The good news is any chewed pieces can be easily replaced!
You’ll still need to watch out for the bit of wire that goes from behind the edging into the socket, but often this will happen behind furniture. Block your rabbit from getting back there with boxes, and you are set.
