Belinda Says Hay: “Your Santa List”

Belinda Says Hay spokesrabbit blog, ”Your Santa List" Dec 7, 2025

Hello. It's Belinda.

I was going to publish this blog last week but instead I wrote a big "confession."

About what I did on Thanksgiving.

It's so embarrassing.

The good news is today's blog is all business. It's about my big "Santa list" project.

I wrote about it a few weeks ago. When the big boss asked me to find out what holiday gifts everyone wants this year. And to put my "data" into a professional report.

I asked all of you for help and "boy oh boy" did you come through. I can't believe how helpful everyone is.

Here is some of the "intel" you sent me for my report.

First up is a list from two of my guinea pig friends. Their roommate Miriam says that Mia would like lots of veggies and grass and Lola wants a new cozy house and pea flakes.

Did you hear that Santa? I hope so because they were good guinea pigs this year.

A roommate named Renee is keeping a big secret from Charlie the rabbit. He wants a clover ring, some compressed hay blocks, and more stacking cups to fling in his water bowl.

He's getting all that but also a Bunny Box. Please don't tell him.

Jenny M wrote that Simon wants a new fleece bed, Sophie wants a new stuffed animal and Wheel wants a new bag of apple banana mini cookies.

Excellent choices in my opinion.

Larissa is Luna's human and she told me some sad news.

Luna's bondmate passed away a couple of weeks ago. That's so hard, especially during the holidays.

Luna is getting whatever she wants right now, such as pear and cilantro timothy hay treats. She asked Santa for more cardboard cat houses and a new tunnel.

I hope you are writing this down Santa. It's important.

My friend Kim B says that "the buns here love treats. Anything to eat.
And toys they can eat."

Sounds like my list. Just kidding.

Denise L told me that one of the things Milo wants from Santa is compressed timothy hay treats.

That’s so good for your teeth Milo. Is it a toy or a healthy snack? It’s both.

Henry and Georgie live with Colleen Anne and she says they want more Meadow Loops. They picked up some at Midwest BunFest but their dog sister broke into their stash and ate them.

Are you kidding me right now. I thought living with the English was bad. I should delete that.

Karl N sent me a report from everyone in the house.  Junie and Romeo asked for Belinda's Blend herbal mix, which is an excellent choice. Big Pea and Minnie want Meadow Loops. Sexy Rexy chose Woodland Loops. And Dottie said anything from Small Pet Select.

How do you like that? What a smart bunch.

My friend “Hina bunny” is remembering Speranza, who always loved fresh willow leaves. I'm happy to include Speranza's input in this project.

Duffy would like dried berries. Brady wants any flavor of Healthy Snackers.
Luke wants anything, as long as it's food. And their roommate Jacqui, also known as "Mom," wants all bunnies to be happy, healthy, and loved.

Tom I writes that his "gang" gets loops and herbal mixes every day anyway so he will have to come up with something more so they are not disappointed.

I hope Tom gets some good ideas from this blog.

Last but not least, Carol L wrote in a comment that what she wants most is for "every homeless, unloved, abused bunny finds a furever home and is loved for the rest of their life."

I'm with you Carol. I put that at the top of my Santa List report.

Everyone gave me so many great ideas that I turned my report in early if you can believe it. Thanks again to all who commented or sent emails.

Well that's all for today.

I hope you are having a good holiday season so far.

I'm trying to not eat too much. You can imagine how that's going.

Sincerely,

Belinda
