If you’re reading this on Sunday, it means I still have a job.
I wish I could just take that "blog" off the Internet. But I don’t dare touch any buttons. I’m never opening an app again.
Some of you wondered what happened after I hit the publish button by mistake last week.
First I saw a little rectangle in the middle of the screen. Inside the rectangle was the word “publishing.”
I panicked. So I started hitting letters and numbers on the keyboard. Finally the screen turned solid blue.
That's where I left it and headed straight to my stash. I ate so much hay that night my face hurt.
It’s bad enough that I’m embarrassed about my big mistake. But that's not the real problem.
It’s Enzo.
His performance review is his private business. It's supposed to be confidential for his job. Not for everyone on the web to "nebnose" around in.
So I had to come up with a way to reward Enzo. Not just because he’s done such an excellent job with the novel chapters. But also to say I'm sorry for letting the entire world see his performance review.
I’m not going to say anything else because I want it to be a surprise.
I want to thank everybody for giving me so many good ideas about this whole performance review project. It's been a "pressure cooker" for months.
Now I just want to get back to selling hay.
